Raghav is a third year Accounting and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. He is currently working as a Private Equity Analyst at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan covering the Consumer & Healthcare sector and is also a Senior Analyst on the SAF Student Investment Fund covering the Financials sector. Returning to hEDGE as Co-Head & Managing Director, Raghav is excited to continue building the hEDGE brand and deliver the best hEDGE conference yet. In his free time, Raghav enjoys playing and watching football as well as watching the latest TV shows.
Su is a fourth year Accounting and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. She is currently working as a Finance Analyst at Microsoft and has previously worked as a Staff Accountant at Chan & Co. After being on the hEDGE organizing team for the past two years, Su is excited to return as a Co-Head and Managing Director for the hEDGE 2018 team. From competing in various finance competitions to teaching financial literacy as part of the Junior Achievement Dollars with the Sense program, Su looks forward to sharing her passion for finance and making hEDGE 2018 the best year yet. In her spare time, Su enjoys running, swimming and watching movies with friends.
Jeffrey is a fourth year Accounting and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. He has previously completed co-op terms as an Assurance Services Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young with experiences in both the Toronto Audit Group and Private Client Services. Having served as an executive for ACE Consulting Group, Jeffrey hopes to bring both his financial literacy and event planning experiences to deliver unforgettable experiences for hEDGE delegates in the coming months. During his free time, Jeffrey enjoys staying active through sports and catching up on the latest TV shows.
Mitchell Ho is a second year Accounting and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. He will be joining Deloitte as a Staff Accountant in their Audit & Assurance practice in January and has spent this past summer working at the Ontario Science Centre as a Senior Recreational Programs Assistant. Returning to the organizing team as Managing Director, Mitchell is ecstatic in bringing together his past experiences to deliver both a revamped and holistic hEDGE 2018 for all delegates. Aside from Mitchell's keen interest towards the capital markets, he is also passionate about traveling to gain exposure towards different cultures around the world and working with children in various capacities.
Jessica Siew is a second-year student in Accounting and Financial Management. She will be going into her first co-op term at Ernst & Young for Assurance. Returning in the 2018 year as a Managing Director, she hopes to bring her experiences as an Associate to continue hEDGE’s success as a premier undergraduate finance conference. Jessica looks forward to building meaningful relationships within the team while fostering connections with past and new sponsors alike. In her free time, Jessica enjoys dancing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Dennis is a third-year student in the Accounting and Financial Management program. He previously completed co-op terms at PwC as an Assurance Associate and at CPPIB as an Investment Research Intern. At school, Dennis is involved in the School of Accounting and Finance Student-Run Investment Fund as a Junior Portfolio Manager, covering the Financials & REIT sectors. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys playing badminton and Ultimate Frisbee. He is delighted to be joining the hEDGE 2018 team, and hopes to bring his passion for finance and deliver a great conference experience.
Andrew is a third-year student in the Accounting and Financial Management program. He will be returning to PricewaterhouseCoopers in January as an Assurance Associate within their Downtown Real Estate Asset Management group. Andrew is excited to bring his energy and experience as well as his interest in finance to the team in order to make hEDGE 2018 the best year yet. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching sports such as basketball and volleyball as well as playing the piano and guitar. Andrew is looking forward to being a part of hEDGE 2018 and intends to do his utmost to contribute its success.
Shivam is a third-year Accounting and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. He is currently working as an Investment Banking Analyst at BMO Capital Markets and is also a Senior Analyst on the SAF Student Investment Fund covering the Mining sector. Prior to this, Shivam worked at Deloitte under both the Audit and Advisory sectors. Shivam is excited to join hEDGE and is looking forward to creating another memorable conference. In his spare time, Shivam enjoys powerlifting and watching football.
Chris is an Accounting and Financial Management student entering his fourth year in the program and currently an Associate at PwC where he specializes in the audit of Private Companies. As a Director of hEDGE, Chris hopes to utilize his past experiences to ensure that hEDGE 2018 is the best one yet. He is excited to work with this year's team to plan an amazing conference. Chris usually spends his free time trying out new video games, coming up with weird combinations in the kitchen, and reading comics (probably too many for his own good!).
Patrick is currently in his second year of Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Waterloo. With a deep interest in the intricacies of the financial markets, he’s excited to join the hEDGE team and utilize past experiences in event planning and organizing conferences. Patrick aspires to widen his knowledge concerning finance opportunities available and augment his experiences across various industries including accounting and consulting while continuing to develop interpersonal communication and teamwork skills. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys debate, dance, and crying while watching a variety of dramas.
Mimi Wang is a second-year Global Business and Digital Arts student. She is excited to bring polished graphics to hEDGE and contribute to the business community at the University of Waterloo. Mimi has worked with graphics for the University of Waterloo and local art studios. She currently creates visuals for the Federation of Students' Advocacy department. In her spare time, Mimi likes to immerse herself in all things arts, from architecture to fine art.
Nicholas is a third-year Mathematics/Financial Analysis and Risk Management student at the University of Waterloo. With a keen interest in the capital markets, Nicholas is joining hEDGE for the first time as an Associate to gain more knowledge while working with other talented individuals on the organizing team. Nicholas has interned at OdysseyRe and Bank of America Merrill Lynch for his past co-op terms. He is an active member of the Water Boys (UW A Cappella Club); his group represented UW and Canada and competed at ICCA Finals on Broadway in New York City in April 2017. Nicholas is very excited to be on the team and he looks forward to delivering a memorable and rewarding experience to the delegates at hEDGE 2018.
Felix is a first-year Computing and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. As a new addition to the team, Felix hopes to absorb as much as he can from a motivated and highly talented team. He is excited to contribute his prior experiences from directing a Model UN Connection Club to creating an unforgettable hEDGE 2018 for each and every delegate. Felix also hopes to bring a different perspective to the event through his experience in cloud software development and interest in fintech. In his free time, you can find Felix in the weight room or working on a side project.
Yigga is a first-year Accounting and Financial Management student at the University of Waterloo. With hEDGE being her first official step into the finance world, she looks forward to both learning from and working alongside the gifted hEDGE team. Possessing an abundance of teaching experience, Yigga hopes to contribute her interpersonal and communication skills to make hEDGE 2018 impactful for each and every one of its participants. In her free time, Yigga enjoys writing stories, practicing taekwondo, and engaging in (friendly) debate.
